여행 스케치의 리더, 보컬과 작사 작곡을 모두 맡고 있는 싱어송라이터.

1989년에 여행스케치 1집으로 데뷔했다.

She debuted in 1989 with the first album of her travel sketches.

대중에게 알려진 여행 스케치의 대부분의 명곡은 조병석이 작사 작곡하였다. 

Most of the famous songs in travel sketches known to the public were written and composed by Jo Byeong-seok.

대표적인 것이 별이 진다네, 산다는 건 다 그런 게 아니겠니, 옛 친구에게 등등.

A typical example is The stars are setting, Isn't that life for everyone?, To an old friend, etc.

조병석이라는 본명으로 활동하다가 2009년 두 차례의 큰 사고를 당했다.

While promoting under the real name of Jo Byeong-seok, he suffered two major accidents in 2009.

 

이후 병석이라는 이름이 불운을 불러온다고 생각(병석이라는 이름 때문에 병석에 너무 오래 누워있는 건가)하게 되어 성경 속 인물 루크+축구선수 카카를 합쳐 루카카라는 예명으로 활동하다가 언제부터인가 루카(Luka)로 이름을 바꾸었다.

Afterwards, I thought that the name Byeong-seok brought bad luck (Is it because of the name Byung-seok that he's been lying in byung-seok too long?), so I combined the Luke in the Bible + Kaka, a soccer player, and worked under the stage name Lukaka, and then changed the name to Luka. 

루카(Luka)는 자신을 연예인이 아닌 연 외인이라고 생각한다.

Luka sees herself as an outsider, not a celebrity.

​

지금은 종종 밤에 곡을 쓰고, 가수를 위한 데모를 만들고, 밴드와 작업하고, 녹음한다.

그리고, 2021년 The COVER, 2022년 The ONLY TV 프로그램을 하고 있다.

Now I often write songs at night, make demos for singers, work with bands, and record.

He is also doing The COVER in 2021 and The ONLY TV program in 2022.
